Well it’s Vegas baby!!! Yes, my mom and I have been having a great time doing a little bit of traveling recently. Right now, we are currently in Las Vegas, gathered with tons of professional photographer to learn and see the hottest, newest products in our industry. I have only been to two classes do far but I already have pages of notes and know that this trip was the best thing I could be doing right now.

I love Valentine’s Day, I do. I am a happy sappy romantic at heart. I might not give the most hugs or winks to enough people but I love…LOVE. I think its a day to celebrate the relationships you have and the people you love and its even better when you get a bunch of flowers delivered to you..:) Thankfully I had a moment to capture this little love in my life. Its that time of year again, Valentine’s Day. I get so baffled by the mixed emotions that people have over buying a simple little card for the person that you love… I mean, is it really that much of a stretch? I know at Target they have a whole selection of $0.99 cards for you to choose from but I still hear over and over on the radio, just how traumatizing that seems to be for some. Why is it so hard? I love my husband very much and he is worth A LOT MORE than a $0.99 card and yes we are to show that person love, honor, respect everyday, but I still don’t think its a horrible idea to have one special day to celebrate that even more. So I say to the WORLD stop complaining and get over it. Or, maybe you do need to spend a little money and effort into the relationship you love. Good luck.

I had the awesome opportunity to get to photograph this little munchkin, Maelee. Just a beautiful sweet thing to walk through our studio doors, and we just had a great time. I think every parent worries about having their family’s portraits taken… Is their hair fixed, clothes cleaned? The list can go on and on and for some, it stops them from ever being about to make it happen. But, you can bring a kiddo to me any age, and we will get something magical. Heck, I even have a coffee shop a couple of doors down, so you can just have a little breather and relax and let me do all the work! HA! Love this little family:)

This just speaks to me. I believe life should be captured through the lens of my camera… the joys, teams, laughter, emotion of love and everything life has to offer us. The color, the vibrance is just so special. Love it!
