Today I am so excited to be participating in a Global Blog Hop with so many other talented Demonstrators form around the world! We are all a part of Kylie Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training program and we are sharing our creative projects with you today.
Here’s may card using the beautiful Love of Leaves Stamp Set. It’s a very simple card design withe the three equal panels at the front and some simple stamping. I really wanted to showcase the beautiful stamps themselves and how they have a very distinctive watecolor look when you stamp them.
Some times simple is just right and the message of hope that this card coneys really speaks to my heart right now.
Thank you for checking my blog today! I hope you will follow along the list of all the other talented Demonstrators and see what they have to share with you today as well. Here’s the list:

Today, I was so exited to play along with the Global Design Project #252 challenge for this week!
The challenge is to Case a card by the talented Emma Goddard. Check out her card that we are to use for inspiration…
I just love Emma’s card and I was especially inspired by the water-colour wash technique she used on the background. So, today I did my morning “Coffee and a Card” Facebook live video using Emma’s card as an inspiration. You can click here to watch my video on my Facebook Business page.
Here’s a look at my card…
I started with a piece f the Fluid 100 Watercolor paper that measures 4 x 51/4″. I used my Aqua painters and a drop of reinkers to add the wash to the background. I started at the top using daffodil Delight, then Calypso Coral and finally some pumpkin pie at the bottom.
Next, I used the Butterfly Beauty Dies and whisper white card stock to cut the main image for the focal point of my card. The die is large with lots of butterflies so I just used my paper snips and removed three of the butterflies form the edges. I will use them on a later card 🙂 I also cut two smaller butterflies using scrap pieces of Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral.
My Stampin Blends markers came in handy for colouring the die cut image. I used a combination of Dark and Light Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight shades to add the different colors to my butterflies. I popped up the die cut image using Mini Dimensional
I stamped the greeting using Memento Black Ink. I also colored some Rhinestones using my Calypso Coral Blends markers and I embellished the butterflies with them.
I made two cards, because you know… I might as well make two if I’m cutting a sheet of cardstock in half right?
My second card is a little lighter as I used mostly Daffodil delight for the Water color wash effect. Just goes to show that no two cards are ever exactly the same in card making, right?
Here’s a look at the supplies i used to make my cards today…
Thank you so much for checking my blog today! I appreciate any comments you may have about my projects today!
