As I promised earlier…I'm back with with instructions on how to make the graduates!
Their bodies are made from just a piece of basic black cardstock punched with the 1 3/8 square and the arms are the word window punch. I use the same square punch to punch out the "V" sashes. Just punch a square and then go back over the edge of the outline (the negative image left behind) to get a small "v" shape. Does this make any sense?? It will…just keep scrolling down.
I heads are blush blossom cardstock punched with the 1 1/4 circle punch.
Now for the hair:
For the girl hair I punched out a large oval punch and then I punched just a "sliver" form the edge of the punched out negative image. Like this:
here's the shapes you get:
For the boy's hair, do the same but now with the 11/4 circle punch instead:
Now for the hat:
Punch a 13/8 inch square form basic Black cardstock. Then take the same 1 3/8 inch square punch and "notch out" the corners like this:
Do both sides to get it to look like this:
Now use a 1 inch circle punch to cut out two ovals on each side like this:
Here's what it will look like after doing both sides:
Now you can stick all the pieces together and draw their faces in and give them a small piece of white cardstock rolled up with red ribbon for the diploma.
Like this:
Hope it all makes sense. If you have any questions please let me know!
Have a great evening!
Faced with a hard and demanding task, people’s attitude varies widely: some try to avoid it and others regard it as a challenge to their abilities. In fact the choice we make between flight or fight make the difference between leaders and mediocrities.
