Happy Sunday!!
I hope your having a great weekend!
For today's card share I've steeped outside my boundaries a bit and I am happy with the result! 🙂
I used the new stamp set called "Artistic Etchings" from the new Idea book and Catalog on page 125. It's a great stamp set and it comes in both wood mount $22.95 and Clear mount for just $17.95!
The colors of cardstock are Early Espresso, Crumb Cake (formerly Kraft), and very vanilla.
First I stamp images randomly on the very vanilla background piece ( 4 inches x 5 1/4) Then I ran it through the square lattice embossing folder. (119976 $10.95). Oh!!! I love the texture!!! Then I sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink.
For the main image I stamped the crown in Early espresso ink and the background is randomly stamped with images using Crumb Cake ink that was first stamped off on scrap paper.
Next I stamped "amour" in Early Espresso on a piece of 3/8 inch twill. Yes! We now sell the 3/8inch twill separately in a package for $8.25 you get 10 yards. I love it!! You can do so much with twill…you can stamp on it, brayer over it, die it…and the list goes on!!!
Finally I stamped the friend to friend greeting from the Teeny Tiny wishes stamp set (115370 $45.95) and punched it out with the word window punch.
Then I used a scrap piece of cardstock and tore the edges and stamped a "border" for the inside like this:
You get this look when you take away your scrap:
Thanks for looking! Hope you have a great rest of the day.
"See" you tomorrow!!
