For today's post I would like to talk about Inspiration. What inspires you when you sit down to stamp or create a scrapbook page? Perhaps it's looking through a book like the amazing Stampin up! Idea book and catalogue or the latest scrapbooking magazine?
I do all those things too, but lately I've been looking at things around me a little differently. I've been getting so much inspiration from my daughter's clothes.

I was inspired to create this card, using the "rock and roll" technique on vellum. I made this card for my husband for our Anniversary yesterday. I hesitated to give him a butterfly card, but we have been together for a long time (high school sweethearts) …and well butterflies can speak volumes too!!! LoL!
I love this stamp from the new set called Word Play. The colors I used for this card are Marina Mist, and Night of Navy.
What do you think?
Have a fantastic day and I'll "see " you tomorrow!!
I love the way the darker butterflies are under the cut out vellum butterflies, and also the way they are placed… great card!
Great technique – but I’m a real butterfly fan. This gives me another way to present them on a card. thanks for sharing
Great card Rose…and happy anniversary!
