Whew!

First of all…. I would like to Thank you for checking back to see if I'm still alive!!  ๐Ÿ™‚

To say the least it has been one crazy week!!! Since my last post I've had many things on my plate…most have been really good so I can't complain…. but boy where the time go? Last weekend I went away on a scrapbooking retreat with some great friends!! I had a great time and got lots done too! However, when I got home the week just seemed to get busier with two classes to prep for, volunteering at Amanda's school and getting all those clearance rack orders out to everyone…(which were great weren't they?) I am happy to say that I am finally caught up!

I have tons to share with you so you may see "double posts" over the next few days just to fit it all in! ๐Ÿ™‚

First I just wanted to share this cute photo of my daughter Amanda and her friend Julia with their Sparks leader, Heather.  Last weekend they had their very first camp and they were so excited and they can't wait for the next one!!!

I am so proud of both of them! They were so brave… when I dropped them off they were eager to go. It brings tears to my eyes at how quickly they grow…sniff sniff…

O.K sorry for the mushy stuff… now back to business… ๐Ÿ™‚

While we were on our retreat last weekend my friend Delores made this awesome Halloween card, that I just had to share!! She was sitting across form me while I took the picture and you can see her (although blurry) in the corner of this shot! I LOVE how she cut the tree free hand and distressed it! Isn't it cute how the witch's hat is left behind in the tree while she is "bottoms up"  in the grass? LOL!!! Thanks for the inspiration Delores!!!!

Now for my project share…

I made this Fall wreath using fun foam and the leaves number two die. I wanted to use this die to make a wreath that would stand up to being outside, although now I'm not sure I want to hang it outside. LOL!

I just cut the leaves using the die…The pumpkin in the middle is made using the ovals die. The dies cut through the foam like butter!!

Then I put the leaves inside the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder to get the texture and I finished it off with some Early espresso sponging.
