Today I have some inspiration for you…

Recently I met with one of my Stamper's clubs for a potluck appetizer/ dessert evening on the night that the ladies meet.

One of the ladies is a VERY talented Cake decorator and she said she would bring along one of her cakes. I knew she was good…but I had NO idea how creative she really was ..until NOW!!!

Her name is Naomi Hubert and she lives here in Calgary….folks…if you need a cake with details..she is the one lady who can deliver!!!!!

Here is the cake that she made and brought to the club night.

At first glance I said "Oh, you made a cake inside a big mug! But then everyone said NO..the cake IS the mug!!!! That's right…what you see here is all cake and yummy fondant…the homemade kind that's not too sweet at all. Oh…and the icing on the top of the cup (the big white swirls)…it was too die for! It was peppermint flavor!!!

The cake inside was absloutely amazing …the richest chocolate cake ever!!!!

O.K so here's the best part… Naomi says that she is inspired by Stampin up!'s catalogues and images when she designs her cakes!! For this cake she was inspred buy our new Candy cane rubons here…

Notice the trees? She said she was inspired by these trees and the swirls along the bottom too. Don't you just love how she made her fondant and icing the perfect Baja Breeze color!! She said she used Baja Breeze, Real red and Garden green for her color scheme!!

Well..it's official ..I can honestly say that I have now eaten, slept and dreamt about Stampin up! 🙂 No I don't actually sleep with my stamps but sometimes I dream about projects!

Naomi's business is called Tea Party Cakes . Check  it our and join her facebook group and see all the amazing cakes she's done!!

Don't forget to check out the fantastic deals above!!

See you tomorrow!
