Whew! where did the week go??? I can't believe that it's Thursday already!
What an eventful week so far … and it's not over yet! Monday was Valentine's day and I had a blast volunteering at Amanda's school! Then the evening brought more Valentine's giving at Amanda's sparks group and basketball for Andrew. He told me that he really wanted to take his "girlfirend" out for supper but he had basketball practice. So instead he brought her a flower and some chocolates. I'm really not ready for all this "girl stuff" but I am smiling at the fact that basketball came first. "wink" ๐
Every year, Kevin and I agree that we won't buy anything for each other…. and every year he breaks his promise and brings me something. Honestly we've been togther for over 20 years now (yes… high school sweethearts ๐ … it's really not necessary but I must admit I love the thought and effort he puts into it! ๐ What girl wouldn't??? This year he said he couldn't decide on the flowers so I got both Roses and Gerber daisies. He did good ๐
To add to this week's excitement my good friend Christine had a healthy baby boy and they came home from the hospital yesterday! Congrats to the Gaydos family!!!!
Last night we had a blast at Amanda's first Family Dance at the school and today we just got home from a play date. Needless to say Amanda is napping while I write this post! ๐
As I promised earlier in the week… here are the cards that the loevely ladies from my team made and swapped at our downline meeting on Sunday evening. Great job girls!!! It was so much fun getting together with you…as always!!
Here's Candace's card, made with punches. I love it!!! …
Here's Wendy's beautiful card featuring two new Big shot projects…the Fun Flowers die and the Framed Tulips embossing folder.
Here's Sara's fun Valentine's treat container!! Love the idea of putting the candy behind the punch!
Here's Robin's beautiful butterfly card featuring the in colors and the butterfly punch!
Mimi made a georgeous card using the On your birthday set and the designer series paper. This card shows a great idea of what to do with those small scraps of pattern paper!
And lastly…but certainly not least…. we have Angel's clever use of ribbon!! I love it!! This card features the seam binding ribbon in both Baja Breeze and Pear Pizzaz!
