Well I loved the blocks so much that decided that my shelf in my front entry way needed a little something more to add to the "Lovin' feeling" 🙂
Here's a close up…
This was super easy! I just cut a large piece of craft wire and started tieing 4" pieces of ribbon to it. I liked how it looked but it needed something more so I twisted additional pieces of wire onto the garland and had then hang down. Next, I just punched out hearts with the fabulous new glimmer paper from the Mini catalogue using the large heart punch. I "sandwiched" (that's a verb right??) them together with mini glue dots over the piece of wire.
Did I mention how much I LOVE this glimmer paper? It's fabulous! The best part is… you can rub as hard as you want and the glitter does not come off! Plus… even though it's really thick paper, you can still punch through it using our punches!
Also.. I noticed while I was at our local "Big Box Craft store" a few days a ago that they sell Glitter Paper very similar but they are charging $3.50 per sheet! With our paper you get two sheets for just $4.95…and do believe it's better quality!! 🙂
Hope you like the project..and I'll be back tomorrow with another fun share!!
I *heart* your garland! And, yes, that Glimmer paper is fabulous. Thanks for sharing Rose.
