Hello!
Yesterday, Amanda and I were busy baking cookies for a bake sale at Andrew's school. The grade nine class at his school are having a baking sale and other fundraisers this week to raise money in support of familes that were affected bu the recent disaster in Japan.
We made Chcocalate chip cookies and the school requested that everyone complete a label including the ingredients, so…. of course I had to use my Homemade stamp for the labels LOL!!!
For today's stamped project I've chosen a card that really caught my eye in the new summer mini catalogue. This card in shown on page 20 of the Summer mini and showcases the new stamp set called flower fest. I just LOVE this set!!! It come with 8 different stamps and 5 of them co-ordinate with Stampin up! punches!!! Yipee! I love a stamp set that you can use punches with!!
I mentioned yesterday that I did a couple of technique cards with my downline on Sunday and this is the second card we did. It's a technique called "poppin Pastels" and it's another one that I haven't done in a while. You just stamp the images randomly on the whisper white cardstock using versamark ink. Then use a finger dauber to apply the pastels to each image . The pastels "Stick" to the versamark like magic!! the more you applly the brighter your image becomes! I love it !
I'm really having fun "revisiting" my old techniques and of course sharing them with you!!
Have a great day!!
