Hello!
Day one at Convention started bright and early with everyone heading to the Convention Center to get their Convention bags filled with free stamp sets!!
My good friend Lisa and her downline from Lethbridge stayed in the room right next door to me at the hotel and they were so nice to include me in on all their activities!! They even invited me to drive everyday with them to the Convention center! What a treat to not have to worry about catching the shuttle or walking in the blazing heat! thanks so much Lisa!!!
Here's a shot of all the girls… thanks so much ladies!!! I had a blast with you all… my face still hurts from all the laughing!!!
I also had the pleasure of catching up with some good friends form Calgary on this trip as well! These ladies were also so nice to offer for me to share a room with them. But with 5 ladies already in a room, I thought I would make it too complicated for us all to get reday in the morning. 🙂 Lisa and her girls also invited me to stay with them. Such great girls! Su! demos rock!!
Here's a fun picture of Allison from Calgary just getting her Convention bag and goodies ….Can you tell she's excited?? LOL!!
Here's Kristine Burns also from Calgary with her loot!!
Next we headed to the Awards booth where we got more stamp sets for recruiting and sales. Then we went to check out Momento mall. Always a highlight for me… and this year I spent the most ever!!! 🙂
They had these cool umbrellas with Su! print on them so we all had to get a picture! Here's me and Lisa having fun… Check out the cool rubber boots… although they didn't have these for sale.
Next we all headed to Riverton to visit the Stampin up! home office. We got such a warm welcome!!This building is so beautiful!! This is where they package and ship all our orders and where the creative genius people design our stamp sets.
Then we spent the afternoon shopping and then back to the hotel for supper and the girls had made some cool flowers for us to decorate hats to wear to the Garden party back at the Convention centre.
Here's a picture of Lisa and Sherri busy "glu gunning" the flowers to the hats that we bought from the dollar store.
Here we are in the car on our way to the party…
What fun we had… here we are at the garden party
We got lots of "Stamped" inspiration this evening with all the demonstrator booths. I just love this part of Convention where you get to watch demonstrators do real demos of new product and techniques.
If you would like to get a better view of the projects just double click on each photo for a larger view.
As you can tell… it was a jam packed week. It's no wonder it took me a couple of days to recover!! LOL!
I'll be back with more to share tomorrow!
