Hi there!
I was inspired by my friend and downline Wendy for this fun project. Thanks Wendy!!
The top note die is so versatile! This idea can be used for a candy treat or even as a napkin holder for your Thanksgiving table.
I used soft suede cardstock for the top note die and I scored it one inch on either side of the middle line. Then I just folded the sides up and attached a Velcro dot to keep it closed.
I attached a 1/2 inch strip of Spice cake fabric at the bottom and a 1/2 inch strip of Spice Cake designer series paper at the top with a leaf cut out of more mustard cardstock using the Leaves number 2 die. I also embossed the leaf using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder and sponged it up with a bit of Soft Suede ink. The letters were stamped using the alphabet stamp set called "Just Perfect Alphabet"…also with Soft Suede ink.
Here's a look at the side view, with some chocolate treats!
I hope you like today's simple project… so easy to duplicate for any occasion.. birthday or even Christmas!!
