Hello!!
This year, at Conevntion,I was over the moon excited that I had seven girls joining me from our "Ink-cited Canadians" Team !
I used My Digital Studio and created each of them (plus one for my friend Lisa too) a journal. I designed the front and back (sorry I forgot to take a picture of the back) and I attached them to the journals that I had purchased at a local Big Box store.
I love how they turned out! It's so much fun to play with MDS … there's so mcuh you can do and it's really user friendly! The images come out so crisp. Check out the stiching on the journals.
Here's a close up of one of them.
Here's a look at the whole group:
Of course, what's a gift without a little chocolate to go with it? I made each of the girls one of these "chocolate pencils" to go with their journal. Inside each pencil, is a package of Rolo chocolates and for the pencil tip I used glue dots to attach a Hershey kIss. I just used a black sharpie to make the tip black for the pencil lead. To make the body of the pencil, I scored a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock and 1/8 increments using the simply scored tool. I used pretty in pink cardstock and a small piece of Basic Grey for the eraser. Wouldn't these be fun to make for a teacher gift?
These gifts were so much fun to make and even more fun to give! I love to give handmade gifts!!
Now, for some more display board inspiration…
I hope you have an inspired day and I'll "see " you tomorrow!
Great idea Rose!! Those pencils are fantastic and I am going to have to try that out!!!
Thanks Kristine 🙂
