Thank you so much for checking back to my blog. I have been absent from blogging for a long time! I have taken some much needed time to spend time with my family, which included a visit from my inlaws for the month of July.
We had a great time with them. We did some sight seeing, visited more family in Red Deer, had fun at the Calgary Stampede, went to the zoo, went to Bingo, played in Amanda's pool , many games of cards and darts and board games the list goes on… It was just fun to hang out and laugh with them. They were such a help with the kids while I went away to Stampin up! Convention ( lots more on that later) and then my hubby and I enjoyed a fabulous trip to Las Vegas …just the two of us!! Now that was "over the top"!!! What a time we had!!
It was sad to say Good bye to Kevin and Elsie but I have many treasured memories to cherish …until we see them again. Which brings me to my post today!
Stampin up! has a new product that I am sooo excited about!! My Digital Studio 2.
While at Convention, we were introduced to some of the fabulous new features of MDS2 and let me tell you it is AMAZING!!
Here's just a few new things you can do with MDS2 (the list goes on and on)
- Design your pages in spreads
- Create custom canvas us tp 24 inches
- Stamp image coloring… add multiple colors to a single stamp!! My favorite feature so far!!
- Recolor embellishments any color you wish
- Recolor designer series paper
- Resize vector images while still keeping the images crisp
Here's a quick sample of a card I made showing the coloring of a single stamp. The thank you was so easy to just color the middle with Raspberry Ripple and then the ouside with More mustard. Same is true for the flowers with the middle colored different from the petals.
