Hello! Happy Monday!
Today, I have a fun sneak peek some new things that will be coming in the new Holiday Catalogue that starts on Aug 28 th! At Convention, they unveiled the catalogue and let me tell you, there's some awesome things coming!! I'm excited for my fall workshops and classes!!
The stamp you see here is from a new stamp set coming called Seasonally Scattered. While I am not permitted to show you the actual stamp set until the catalogue comes out, I am permitted to show you hand stamped projects that are made using the set. So stay tuned, because I have lots of new sets to play with and I can't wait to share my projects with you!
I am also showing here… a close up of a fun new wooden embellishment that's coming in the Holiday Catalogue! Also shown here is a piece of the new Festive Designer Kraft Paper Rolls and the new take out boxes!!! Oh, the packages are going to be beautifully wrapped this coming season!! I can't forget to mention the beautiful 3/8" Stitched Satin Mossy Meadow ribbon that ties this box together. Love this ribbon! It's super soft! Check out the Champagne Glimmer "Feather"! Read on to find out how to make it!
When Shelli Gardener was on stage at Convention, she did some wonderful projects! One of them was a cute gift box and she showed us how she made a "feather" using the large leaf from the Flower Fair Framelits and a small star punch (from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack)
Oh, and she also made a beautiful card to match too!!
Here's how she used the framelits to cut the shape of the feather… ( The stamp is from the set called Amazing Birthday)
After she cut the cardstock, she scored it down the center to give it a middle crease and then….she used the star punch to cut the little "snips" on the sides of the shape to make it look "feathery". So Clever!
I hope you like today's project and also the tip from none other than Stampin up!'s own Shelli Gardner!!
Have a great day!!
