This year, I was so fortunate to earn the Grand Vacation to Hawaii. Thanks to all my amazing customers and downline team for all their promotions!
Here's a picture that my friend, Lisa, took of me as I walked across the stage for this achievement. Can you tell I'm excited? LOL
We enjoyed so many on stage demonstrations and one of my favorite speakers is the President of Stampin up!, Rich Jutkins. He is so entertaining! In this picture he doing a little "meditation" to relax before he stamps for us. He never stamps on stage (and I'm not sure he stamps off stage either) but he was a real trooper and he did a fabulous job!
I especially loved how he shared with us his experinece recently in Japan. Stampin up! is moving into Japan soon, and he was introducing Stampin up! to a group of poeple who did not speak English. He showed them how to make something a simple as a gift tag. Just a simple stamped tag with a couple of stamps and a greeting. When he told us how excited they were with the finished product and the smiles on their faces, it sent shivers over me.
It's so true! Stamps, ink and paper can allow a person to express themselves and bring joy to others without being able to say a single word. This is the whole point of this wonderful hobby and the backbone of the company. What a wonderful reminder of why I love being a demonstrator so much. Seeing the delight on a new person's face when they make a card for the first time or they learn a new technique. It's a great feeling!
