Hello!
I am thrilled to be participating in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlight once again! The theme for this Blog Highlight is love!
When I sat down to make this card, I knew I wanted to use hearts! Lots of hearts! Nothing spells love like hearts, right?
I had the "It's my party" Washi tape collection sitting on my desk so I started to play with it. I love the color co-ordination of this set so I used it for my inspiration for this card…
I started by just laying down random strips from the Washi Tape collection on a piece of scrap cardtsock.
Once I had my strips of Washi tape down, I used the heart from the Mini Treat bag thinlits to cut the heart like this…
The Big Shot had no problem cutting through the Washi tape. They didn't call it a "Big Shot" for nothing! LOL 🙂
I also used another framelit from the Mini Treat bag thinlits to create the row of hearts. Then I used a piece of the black Washi tape behind the hearts to make them pop.
Of course, I had to use the Happy Hearts Embossing Folder on this card to add the texture in the background. Love this folder!
Finally, I completed my card with a simple greeting form the set called "And many more".
I hope you like my card and you'll check out all the other cards from Kylie's International Blog Highlight.
Here's a look at what I used to make my card….

Oh I love how you used the washi tape and die cut it. It’s so cute and eye catching!
Cool card, I had never thought of using the individual dies from the mini treat bag set like this! I’m glad you did 🙂
Thank you Satomi!!
Thanks Katrina!
