Hello!
I am going to be including lots of pictures in today's post! You might want to grab a cup of coffee or tea and sit down to read this post.
Last weekend, I held my Fall Paper Crafter's weekend retreat in Canmore. I had 20 ladies join me for a relaxing and productive retreat. Everyone works on their own projects at their leisure and they have access to the scrapbooking room all hours of the weekend. I bring along pretty much my entire stamp room and the ladies are welcome to usual my supplies all weekend long. They get a cloth bag with a surprise stamp set and I teach make and take projects using their new supplies.
On Saturday afternoon we had VERY special visitors stop by my retreat! Shelli Gardner and her husband Sterling! Yes!! the co-founder of Stampin up! was at my Retreat! Honestly, it is still very surreal that this actually happened!!
They stayed with us for a couple of hours and we enjoyed chatting and having tea and cake!
My friend and downline, Twila Theede made this absolutely fantastic cake to honour Shelli and her visit with us …
Here's a close up of the amazing things she made completely out of fondant!
Here's the stamp made out of fondant that Shelli actually took home with her:
You can tell that Shelli really loved the cake…
Here's some more pictures of our very special visit..
My Ink-Cited Canadians team members who joined me on the retreat..
Giving Shelli a gift from my heart. I gave her a special collection of products from the Rocky Mountain Soap Company and a cozy, soft pair of slippers from Canmore. She really liked them and my heart was happy.
This is my card I made for her..
Here are some more pictures of our fun weekend.
This is the cloth bag I gave the ladies and it included the Dashing Deer stamp set and all the cut card stock for their make and take cards and an acetate box to store them in.
Here's a look at the two pillow gifts that the ladies got on Friday and Saturday night..
A look at the scrapbook room …
These are the scrapbook pages I designed for all the girls to do as one of their make and take projects..
Saying goodbye to Shelli… it was absolutely wonderful to have her visit us!!
I will never forget this amazing visit from a lady whom I look up to and respect with all my heart!
Once again, I feel truly blessed to be a part of this amazing company.
My heart is full!
