Hello Stamping friends!

Allow me to share my wonderful news! I am over the moon excited to have been invited to be a Design Team member on the Global Design Project Challenge!

I have been a huge fan of their weekly challenges over the past few years and I always enjoy my Monday morning coffee while checking out he new challenge of the week. I am completely honoured to accept their invite to be on the design team!

This week it’s a sketch challenge! I love sketch challenges! They are the perfect way to make a card using the supplies you have at home and chances are, your card will be an original 🙂

Here’s my take on this week’s challenge…

I have always been a big fan of Melon mambo and Basic Black together. When Stampin up! introduced the new Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green foil sheets, I was so excited!

This week, I will be playing with the Bag of Bones bundle and instead of jumping into a Halloween card, I decided to make a friend card. I think this fancy skeleton would make anyone smile 🙂

For the greeting, I stamped using Memento black ink on Basic White cardstock. I used my Paper trimmer to cut the greeting into 3 small rectangles to reflect the sketch.

I used the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies to cut the circle in the Melon Mambo foil. Then I ran it through the Polka dot folder from the 3-D basics folder set. Isn’t it fun? Oh I love these polka dots so much!

I used the Granny Apple Green foil to cut the grass with a die from the Bag of Bones dies. Did you know there are 31 dies in this set? So much fun!

The skeleton image was heat embossed on Basic Black cardstock using White embossing powder. Check out the hat stamp and the little rose in her hand. The hat die even includes a little cut so that the hat can easily be slipped onto her head. So cute!!

This was a fun challenge and I sure hope you’ll play along with us this week too!
