Modern Garden for #GDP423

Hello!

This week with the Global Design Project Challenge, we have a theme challenge to use letters. So much fun!

On my card today, I am featuring a sneak peek at some amazing Mini Alphabet letter dies that are coming in the new January – June Mini Catalogue that starts on January 4th, 2024. Each die cuts multiple pieces: alphabetic letters, punctuation and many diacritics too! Starting on December 5th, you can get these dies too when you put them in your very own starter kit! Yes! You get to pre order all the beautiful new things in the January – April 2024 Mini Catalogue … PLUS you’ll get to choose FREE Sale A Bration items early too! SWEET!!

I love the Modern Garden stamp set from the current Mini Catalogue and I’m sad that it’s retiring. It has such bold and happy floral images and the greetings are so wonderful too! You can save 10% off when you purchase the bundle with the Modern Oval punch. Item Code: 162235

Peek A Boo Fun Fold Card

Hello!

Today, I have a super quick and easy Fun Fold to share with you! I’m calling it a “Peek A Boo” card because the front focal image is actually attached to the inside of the card and it’s actually peeking through the opening made by the Heartfelt Hexagon punch.

It’s such a great fun fold and it uses just half a sheet of cardstock so you can get 2 from a single sheet.

I love the Roller skate image from the Curved Occasions stamp set! Such a fun, retro image, especially when colored with the bright Parakeet Party and Berry Burst blends. I also used the bright Stargazing Designer Series paper to add to the funky vibe of this card.

Here’s a look at the inside…

Curved Occasions for GDP422

Hello!

Happy Monday! I’m excited to play along with the weekly Global Design Project challenge #GDP422. This week, it’s sketch challenge! Check out the sketch we are working with this week:

This week, my product focus is on the Curved Occasions bundle from the soon to retire, Sept-Dec Mini Catalogue.

For my card, I had New Years on my mind as I think this would be a great Happy New Years card.

This bundle is so awesome as it includes some adorable images such as a retro roller skate, a fun convertible, a disco ball and more! How fun!

There are also 10 different greetings that fit the Curved Label punch.

The Curved Occasions stamp set is retiring and it’s on sale for 10% off at $25.20 in Canada. (item code: 162269) It’s only available while supplies last, so grab this one quick if you like it.

The Curved Label punch is not retiring while is fantastic news because I think this one will coordinate with lots of greetings in your collection.

Here’s a closer look at the front of the card. The Holographic Specialty paper was a little hard to photograph but I think this picture shows the gorgeous shine…

Rocking Horse for GDP 421

This week we have a fun color Challenge with the Global Design Project Challenge. Check out these vibrant colors…

I love these bright colors and when I saw them, I immediately thought of my Rocking Horse bundle sitting on my wall for this card. I actually won this bundle as a Prize patrol gift with Ronda Wade’s latest Creative Convention online. I was so thrilled!

Here’s my take on this fun bright and cheerful challenge…

For my card, I’m pulling in some wonderful products from the September to December Mini catalogue that go so nicely together. The shiny background paper is from the Snowflake Magic Specialty Designer series paper. Checkout the Pool Party Deckled circle background. I embossed it using the Christmas Tidings folder for a subtle background. I’m in love with this new Embossing folder!

Joy of Noel for GDP420

Hello!

This week we have a Case the Designer Challenge with the Global Design Project Challenge. Check out Ann Alexander’s beautiful card…

I love so many things about Ann’s card. I love the way she curled the edges of her front layer to add great depth and dimension. I love her placement of the flowers and springs. It’s so pleasing to the eye! So many beautiful details on her card.

This week, I’m playing with the Joy of Noel bundle and here’s my take on Ann’s card:

I am using Pebbled Path , Old Olive and Moody Mauve for my color palette today. I love the soft touch of Moody Mauve. it’s quickly becoming one of my favourite colors!

The background of my card front is from the gorgeous Winter Meadow designer Series paper. So many soft and pretty patterns in this collection of papers.

I added a few pebbled path in color dots for a little bling in the background. I love this design so much, I definitely want to make more cards like this one. Thanks for the inspiration, Ann! ๐Ÿ™‚

Merry & Bright for GDP419

This week we have a Theme Challenge of Tis the Season for the weekly Global Design Project Challenge 419.

Such a fun challenge! Now that Halloween is behind us, we can jump right into Christmas! I absolutely love Christmas and all things to do with spreading Holiday cheer!

This week, my product bundle focus will be the Beautiful Merry & Bright bundle. Item code: 161951

Here’s my card for the challenge:

Check out those Christmas lights! That’s one single die from the Merry & Bright dies. I just cut it using basic white cardstcok and then I colored the lights with my Stampin Blends markers. So easy!

The Santa hat is from the Sending Cheer dies. I had so much fun using that bundle last week, I totally had to use it one more time with this “Santa was here” greeting. These bundles go so nicely together. Here’s a look at the inside using stamps from the Merry & Bright stamp set:

Sending Cheer Triangle Corner Pop up card

Hello! I had so much fun making this Triangle Corner pop up card on my video on Friday! Check out the YouTube replay below…

This card comes together so easily and I think it’s honestly more like a decoration than a card. Here’s a look at the opened card ready for displaying on a mantle. So beautiful!

Check out the view of the card as you open it and see the inside.

The two square parts at the bottom just “Swing” over each other to create the base of the card. the tow top triangles create decorative “Flaps” to add detail to the edges of the card.

The center focal point of this card is the fun easel part where the Christmas stocking is adhered.

There are so many beautiful images in the sending Cheer bundles that could take the “center stage” on this card. Will you try this card?
